This looks like a quick bugfix, not a major patch. Give them time, hopefully we'll see some of what you're asking for here.

Fact: Resurrection shrine bonuses are disabled past r8 a la SS/LB. What else would the rest be gained from? Surely not the pittance you get from doing the hero/dungeon books.
And kudos to Anet for silencing the unmentionables that were vandalizing perma-pre's.

How can they ban you for it?
They screwed up and made it possible so it is all on them or at least should be. Then again their track record seems to suggest they think they are in the business of punishing everyone else for their mistakes so who knows.

I was in Shards of Orr before the update, but beat Fendi Nin after the update went live, I don't wanna hench that place again, expecially not with him being more of an ass than before.

Yeah I just beat him before the update as well. I'll go back and hit it up again later just to see how much harder it got.
Would've been nice to get some more substantial fixes though.
